We had some iced tea and chicken tacos. Love the healthy options at the Cafe with beautiful views of the wildflowers and a great breeze going through their lovely outdoor seating area! Lots of coffee options as well. - My first time here in a long, long time and I'm super impressed. The Eastern Everglades area is just amazing. Lots of really well kept trails, no garbage or trash anywhere at all. Lots of rest room facilities. Water fountains galore, and the kind where you can fill a water bowl for dogs or a water container. Today it was decorated for the holidays. Lights and ornaments on the light poles, a huge Christmas tree, and light arrangements everywhere. I was so inspired. It was a great run for me. Lots of people, walking, jogging, and in family groups & lots of dogs. Just a really great experience. I'll be back. A lot!
